Welcome to the PTA section!
The Churchfields PTA is a registered charity and everyone who has a child attending the school automatically becomes a member. Sixteen members - twelve parents and four teachers - are elected annually to form a management committee which organises events throughout the year to raise much needed funds for the school.
Churchfields PTA is an excellent way to bring together parents, teachers and others to raise money and to support the school. It provides an opportunity for everyone to work together towards a common goal. All parents and teachers can get involved even if they only have a small amount of time available. Churchfields School benefits from the additional funds raised and it also increases the opportunity for parents to be more involved in school life.
Please see below for our latest minutes.
What does the PTA do?
- raise funds to help the school provide “extras” for the pupils
- run social events for parents and childre
- provide support for school trips, outings and other special event
- run after-school clubs for sport, music or drama
How do I join?
That's the easiest part! As mentioned above, any parent of a child attending Churchfields School can join the PTA. Please contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or simply show up at the next meeting. You'll be welcomed with open arms.
School Uniform can now be ordered from Marks and Spencer online. Just select the 'Your School Uniform' tab from the Uniform page and select 'South East' and Churchfields will be listed there. You can then order the uniform you require.
The PTA meetings are usually held on a Monday evening at 7pm in the school.
